Q. Where can the Spellex Source Code be used?
The Source Code SDK is flexible enough to be used in embedded systems, servers, or desktop applications.
Q. What platforms are supported?
Most platforms, including Macintosh, UNIX, and Linux are supported.
Q. Does Spellex offer technical support?
Our current policy provides free e-mail support as part of your maintenance agreement. Our technical support representatives are prepared to spend a reasonable amount of time helping you resolve problems related to integrating our products with your software. We are well known for speedy response times with accurate solutions for your technical support inquiries.
Q. What do your maintenance agreements include?
Your maintenance includes ongoing technical support, all major and minor upgrades, as well as interim releases.
Q. Can words be added to the dictionary?
Yes. Both the developer and the user may create custom dictionaries. A word’s spelling is checked against all open dictionaries. Also, your application can use the user dictionaries of most other applications (e.g. Microsoft Office ).
Q. Does the Source Code SDK offer replacements for misspellings?
Yes. The Source Code SDK includes a function that looks up suggestions for misspellings.
Q. Does the dictionary provide definitions?
The current version contains only word lists.
