Analyst (Software Development Assistant) |
| Summary: |
Under the direct
guidance of the Director of Software Engineering,
this position includes writing software programs
and developing and documenting specifications
for new programs and proposals to be written
by contract programmers. This position will
supervise contract programmers from around
the world to ensure they develop superior
quality products according to specifications.
This position will require testing in a variety
of environments and platforms. The successful
candidate will also be able to design, code,
test, and implement new programs as required. |
| Requirements: |
- High Integrity
- Must be passionate about software product
development
- Degree in computer science or programming
specialty ideal
- Must have real world programming experience
- Program skills in VB, C, C++, Java, SQL
- Programming experience with C# and .NET
a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and
organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt emerging
technology
- Understanding of relational databases
- Software testing / report skills
- Knowledge of ColdFusion a plus
- Must be well versed in QA best practices
and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented
development team
