How do I add Spellex to Mac Office?

The setup process copies the Spellex files to your local drive. You must now enable them in Microsoft Word. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Open Microsoft Word, at the top of your screen click on "Word" and select "Preferences...".
  2. When the "Preferences" window appears, click the "Spelling & Grammar" icon.
  3. Click the "Dictionaries..." button. The Custom Dictionaries Management box will display.
  4. Click the "Add..." button.
  5. A "Browse" window will open.
  6. Navigate to the /Applications/Spellex MacMedica folder.
  7. Select the Spellex MacMedica file(s) and click "Open".
  8. You will now see your new Spellex MacMedica dictionary file listed with a check mark next to it. Click OK, and OK again to return Word.
